General Information

Please check the bulletin board located by the canteen for information on programs, schedule changes, special events etc. As parents/skaters, it is your responsibility to read any posted information or handouts such as newsletters.

 

We ask that you adhere to deadlines set out for test days, competitions, ice show etc. If you don’t get forms in on time, your skater may miss a test or a competition event. The volunteers working on these activities should not have to spend time chasing people for forms or fees.

 

The dressing room is located at the North end of the arena. It is the skaters responsibility to keep the room clean. Arena staff will throw anything left on the floor out when they clean the floor.

 

The Annual Meeting and banquet is held at the end of each skating year. At this time the Board Members are elected. Your vote counts. If you have concerns you wish to address this is the time to do it.

 

Dresses are sometimes left hanging in the dressing room and skates for sale can be posted on the bulletin board.

 

The Club has a harness available for assisting the coaches in teaching jumps. The coaches must use this equipment only.

Coaches must also use the video camera and monitor only. You must purchase your own tape if you wish to have your solo taped. Coaches will use the club tape when using the video for lessons.
